Soon after we moved into the house we currently live in, we decided to try for baby number 3. From conception he was in a hurry! He was born in a hurry with a quick 3 hour total labor. He pretty much skipped walking and went straight to running and really he hasn't slowed down since.
This child is a blessing in every sense-the relationships he has fostered in this family melt my heart. Though he is a boy in every sense of the word he is also kind and loving. His soul is sweet and when life isn't fair his sadness is felt by all.
He cried this year because he really thought he was going to school with his sis-he was devastated!
When I went in to meet his teacher last year for kindergarten, she commented about how shy he was. I looked at her in the strangest way thinking, not my child-or not this child at least. I realized the truth in her words though because he aims to please everyone and it sometimes holds him back, but certainly not in a bad way.
He loves to laugh and any joke is funny. He has a belly laugh that can bring anyone out of a bad mood. The hugs he gives are amazing. He has brought so much joy to me and for that I will be forever grateful.
He used to promise me that he would always stay small and never grow, but sadly that can't happen. I am excited to see the man he becomes!
