Day 5 of Thankfulness...the 3rd child...

Heidi

Day 5:  Today I am thankful for my third child and second born son, Tyler.  He goes by Ty with his friends but to his dad and I, he will always be Tyler or Ty Ty.  Tyler was a complete surprise as he was born 16 months after Haley and 3 years and two weeks after Justin.  Three children in three years was quite a challenge.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  When Tyler was born, it was as if he told the other two he was here and they better get out of his way.  He wanted to be held ALL of the time.  He too was colic, it just felt like it lasted until he was about four or five.  He has grown into the most adorable and amazing child.  He is smart, athletic and extremely tech savvy.  He is always analyzing our times after we race or helping Kristen and I set up this blog.  He too appeases me by racing with me.  He runs track but refuses to run cross country for school.  I am not sure why as he is pretty good at it.  He plays the violin beautifully.  He must have inherited that music gene from my mom.  He is always striving to be first chair and get the solo's in orchestra.  I am so proud of the person he has become.  We are so blessed to have him in our family.  He completed us.  Tyler, thank you for being my son!!  I love you to the moon and back!!!

  1. I was anxiously awaiting Ty's turn on the blog. Good things happen in 3s and Tyler completes my 3 nephews and nieces. I think Grumpy Mom forgot to be thankful for all of Ty's great culinary skills I am always hearing about. Tyler I am proud of the man you are quickly growing into.
